More Than a Wine Release: Bringing the Table to Life

There is something special about Rhône wines this time of year. As spring gives way to summer, meals become a little simpler, tables move outdoors, and wine naturally becomes part of the gathering rather than the centerpiece. Fresh ingredients, grilled vegetables, seafood, herbs from the garden, olive oil, good bread, and conversations that linger into the evening all seem to belong together.

That spirit inspired this year’s Spring Rhône Release at Limerick Lane Cellars.

While many people know us for our historic old-vine Zinfandels, our Rhône wines have quietly become one of the most exciting parts of our portfolio. Crafted by Winemaker Chris Pittenger, these wines showcase another side of Limerick Lane Cellars—one that celebrates freshness, balance, texture, and remarkable versatility at the table.

This year’s release includes:

  • 2025 Fáilte – Our White Rhône Blend named by owner Karen DeGolia after a memorable visit to Ireland, where Fáilte means
  • Welcome. It is always the wine we love to pour first—the one that signals friends have arrived and the evening has begun.
  • 2025 Rosé – Bright, vibrant, and made for long afternoons and warm evenings.
  • 2024 Rocks & Fog – A Rhône blend that layers depth, spice, and elegance in every glass.
  • 2024 Syrah – Richly expressive with savory character that shines alongside food.
  • 2024 Grenache – Silky, energetic, and one of the most versatile wines you’ll find at the table.

Why We Created a Recipe Book

As we prepared this release, we realized something.

We spend so much time talking about what is in the bottle that we rarely talk about where the bottle belongs.
For us, these wines have always been made for the table.

So this year, we created something new.

Rather than simply suggesting food pairings, we developed a collection of Mediterranean-inspired recipes designed specifically for these wines. Each recipe highlights the character of a particular bottle while celebrating the kind of relaxed entertaining we love most.

You’ll find bright seasonal ingredients, fresh herbs, grilled dishes, vibrant vegetables, and even an Olive Oil Cake made with Limerick Lane Estate Olive Oil.

These aren’t complicated restaurant recipes.

They’re the kinds of meals we actually love to prepare—simple enough for a weeknight, special enough to share with friends.

Wine Is Meant To Be Shared

One of the greatest joys of wine is that it naturally brings people together.

Our hope is that this recipe collection helps create those moments in your own home and inspires you to gather the people you love around the table.

If you haven’t experienced our Spring Rhône Release yet, there’s never been a better time.
